Why is Aquawrap unique?
Aquawrap is the only wrap developed for cold therapy that has the ability to cool at room temperature. Refrigerating Aquawrap will extend the cooling effect over the course of many hours.

How does Aquawrap work?
Through its special composition, and its direct contact with the skin, a depravation of heat from surrounding tissue layers occurs. Through evaporation a continuous, long lasting cooling effect takes place. The temperature measured between Aquawrap and the skin, climbs in approximately the first 20 minutes, and afterwords falls again a few degrees , due to pressure and evaporation.

Should Aquawrap be cooled in advance?
Pre-cooling allows a deeper starting temperature and leads to a greater and extended cooling effect. Aquawrap can be used at room temperature in an emergency because of the self-cooling ability.

Is Aquawrap reuseable?
Yes. The total duration of cooling lasts approximately 6 hours. Normally Aquawrap is applied for 20-30 minutes and therefore can be used several times. After use, Aquawrap should be re-rolled and placed in its original container. We recommend for longer storage times that Aquawrap be placed back in the plastic bag as well as the original container. This will prevent Aquawrap from drying out and losing its cooling capability. After 2 hours, Aquawrap should be hydrated to restore lost moisture. This is accomplished by running Aquawrap under cold water You should remove excess water with your fingers then roll Aquawrap back up on its spool. Aquawrap should be placed back in the plastic bag and container so it is ready for the next application.
